Thanks for that complement HS. It means a bunch coming from you! Naw, I kind of goaded him more than I should have I think. Sometimes those types just get my blood boiling with lame comments and arguments.

Yes, the discussions seem to revolve around bashing SKK. That was one of the reasons why I started the technique discussion thread.

Now that there are two of you here. I have a question. It is somewhat stupid, but has been bugging me for quite some time. Is it Kenpo, or Kempo?

There is no schools close to my area, but it has been an art that has always been interesting to me, even though I know next to nothing about it.

Both. I always mix this up, bit, it has to do with Kanji, where it spelled with an "n", and pronounced as an "m", I believe. Either way is correct, and some chose one over the other to differentiate themselves from each other.

Its spelled both ways. One has more of a Chinese hint while the other Japanese. You'll see KeMpo more along the Shaolin, Villari lines. KeNpo more associated with Parker and Tracy.

From time to time I'll do tech. discussions in the EPAK and Tracy section. Figured I'd give it a shot with SKK and its working out pretty good! As for the other discussions...I'm keeping an eye on them.
