Love cats. My guy is 14 years old and he owns our 2 year old Lab.

one of my dogs is a nine week old chihuahua, and yes, all the cats own him. He is like half there size. I only intened on having two cats, but one of them went and had kittens before I could get her fixed. So, in a couple weeks I will have the unpleasent experiance of sitting infront of the grocery store with a free kittens sign.

one of them is cuter and sweeter than most kittens I have seen. She is going to be long haired white with gray spots. Heck, ya can take more than one!

I live way out in the middle of nowhere. It's pretty dull here too. I am about five hours from Phoenix, so entertainment is something you create on your own.

My other dog is a lab mix...she is 13 years old now. She is getting to be a grouchy old lady.

Now I don't feel as bad. Boston is only an hour away from here. I don't tend to do much when I go out anyway. We make a trip to Boston about 4 times a year. We either go to the science museum, a Red Sox game or on a very rare occasion, see a show.

We drive an hour just to go to Wal-Mart. It's not bad though. Keeps me from spending a ton of money I don't have.

I've heard that mixed Labs are better than pure because pure bred labs tend to have joint problems.
We rescued our Black Lab from a group out of North Carolina. They do some sort of rescue and transport program to get their dogs out of the state. Apparently NC has a high kill rate for strays. They told us that our Lab is mixed too but they don't know with what. Aside from being very lean, he looks all Lab to me.
