Thanks Carol!

Ya know, I do love Glocks, sometimes I just want a good hunk of steel in my hands though!

I know what ya mean. But...if I do get to the point where I can buy a firearm, its going to be something tiny. I don't think I can comfortably stash a 1911 in a smart carry. I'm not that big of a gal :D ;)

If I remember correctly from some thread about Gi's, you are pretty tiny, aren't you?

Yeah...I'm not really skinny but small enough to where I can't see myself carrying around a full-sized pistol.

Guess I'll have to keep practicing at the range, eh? :D

Don't discount a full sized pistol just 'cause of your size. There are some wonderful concealment holsters and such out there that would pretty much negate that issue. Plus, they are a heck of a lot easier to shoot than the compacts and sub-compacts.

A good holster will do wonders in concealing a weapon. I can tuck a full 7 1/2" barreled Ruger Super Blackhawk .44Mag under my arm, and you would be hard pressed to pick it out casually, sure, I'm a fair sized guy, but that is a BIG chunk of steel. I would imagine just about anyone would be able to carry a full sized weapon concealed with the right holster.

Pretty good, It's my other halfs birthday today!

William is doing great. He's still proud of the dog he chased off yesterday I think!

Oh I've tried. The size and the weight of a full-size pistol just doesn't do it for me.

The easier something is for me to carry, the more likely I am to carry it. I'd much rather be in a situation where I need to rely upon a compact weapon that I have on my person and not the full-sized weapon I left at home.

Oh, lunchtime! One of my favorite times of day. There are 2 other times, care to guess? LOL

Hey Scott! :) Hee hee...I can guess! I can guess!

Lunchtime for you folks and it's time for me to take my vacation-lazy-on-the-couch-butt through the shower and out for some breakkie.

IHOP here I come!
