Drac, growing up by the Great Lakes I know you had to fish. I mean you guys had that great T&T it would be a shame if that beauty was just a sport/fun boat. You still get out on the big lake for Salmon or anything?

Ray hubbard Tawakoni, Joe Pool and od course lake arlington. Also down at the coast red fish.

Crank bait I only fly fish when the stock the ponds with Rainbow trout in the winter.

Never went after red fish. Hear they are great fighters though. Bass fished Ray Hubbard while I lived in Seagoville back in the late 70's

Minnows, worms..I 've had excellent luck with a spoon...Use to go on fishing boat with my Grandfather on Lake Erie (before it got screwed up) for perch..Ate so much fish as a kid I'm not a real fan of it anymore..

Plus the perch are just such a PITA to clean. I like the King Salmon personally. Lots of fish, easy cleaning!

I hear ya on that...Catfish ain't bad if its done right...This old Gypsie at my folks cottage does them with a beer batter and some other ingredients that he wouldn't tell us..Good eating with some cornbread..

I agree with you 100% The wave motion and the alcohol just does NOT mix well at all. Seen too many people chum while out on the big Lakes to even try it myself.

I was taken by surprise actually. I have been in the LL Bean store out this direction in Freeport, ME and was expecting something like that. Was I wrong. Cabelas is huge.
