Stop light flashing red in an out-of-power area...I treated it as a stop sign. They treated its as being extra-green...

Nothing better then driving 4 hours away to take your kids to a swim meet only to get 1/2 done and a thunder storm rolls in and they cancel the meet. And since it don't get enough events completed none of the results count. Which sucks when your 9 year old swims her personal best and qualifys for states then you have to tell her it didn't count. Its been a pretty miserable 4 hr ride home

Still sucks, but it's a lesson we all have to learn.

That sucks! Poor kid. Well, hopefully she feels good about her performance, even if the records won't show it.
