Well I had a great time down in Texas! Terry and his wife Yolanda are wonderful hosts. They have a very nice Training Hall and a wonderful group of students that are really dedicated to what they are doing. Terry is definately old school Tae Kwon Do and it shows in the toughness of his students. I can see why they have been successful competing because they certainly have a great group of students.
Friday night I taught a Kid's Self Defense seminar drawing on alot of different techniques from IRT.
Saturday was the combative grappling seminar that focused on alot of basics and some advanced techniques plus the application and understanding of tools being used while grappling.
Finally on Sunday I covered stick and blade techniques that are used in IRT as well as 4 count and 6 count.
All in all it was a great time and really enjoyable because everyone there was interested in learning.
