My goal (among many other things) is to have a my school be a WTF school for normal people. Maybe going to 1 or 2 tournaments a year (maybe not even USAT tourneys) but not making a big deal out of it. Good TKD (SD & discipline) will be more important than trophies.

These WTF schools exist (Miles & Terry have them) but they are few & far between.

IMO it works out well enough as is. That way unaffiliated (to the WTF) schools and orgs don't have to alter their sparring rulesets as there's no incentive to do so.
