It seems hatred is a vice that has much in common with alcoholism. You start off hating for what you think are perfectly good reasons, but sooner or later you find yourself hating just to hate. I've had a difficult few conversations with people about our new achbishop, who happens to be a lesbian. I think this is something to be celebrated, but a lot of my brothers in christ don't see it the same way
