I have been around chainsaws all my life. We heated with wood until I was sixteen or so and we have a fair amount of acreage so felling trees and clearing are part and parcel.
If I need a good chuckle, I will watch videos of chainsaw fails. Some are tragic but some are comedy gold.

Hey, I moved 1000 miles south to avoid all that. I think I deserve some whining.

I checked the town I moved from when I posted that, it was I think 5F, but felt like -4F, per weather.com

I saw the weather for the south, you guys are in for some cold days and some places they have even predicted snow

So where is Dennis Quaid when you need him

Snow's expected tonight. Not a lot, but a dusting of snow is equal to 6 inches at least up north with how people react to it (and how badly they drive)

When I was in Baltimore a couple weeks ago they declared a snow emergency for about 6 inches of snow... Up here in the foothills of the Adirondacks that's a average snow day.
 
We're having a heat wave, a tropical heat wave...it is now 17F
 
Just learned that, despite no snow being forecasted until after school, they delayed school openings a couple hours so the students wouldn't have to go to school in the cold. At 20F. Bizzare
 
9 degrees warmer now than it was when i got up this morning… it is now -1 Fahrenheit
 
As I've mentioned, I work for a company, that provides tech support for other companies. I have one main "other" company I work with.

The main company I work with closed for the day for snow. I still have to work since my company did not, but that should mean a light day for me today
 
It is now a balmy 8F.... almost swimming weather here in the Adirondacks

If it was not for having to setup 3 Mac computers today, I would not have shown up
 
Many of you won’t really have experience of this and will be very popular in social situations 😐😉
