I love the accuracy of TV "journalism"...

An elderly man was found in cardiac arrest yesterday. Despite efforts by EMS and our ER, no pulse was ever restored.
24 hours later, the TV is still saying he's "in critical but stable condition"...

Well, I guess technically asystole is a stable rhythm...

Yoga....it's the yoga!

Interesting development today: It is getting chilly here, and (with the exception of right now, sitting bundled up) I am actually liking it.
But then again, I spend 8 hours in an artificial climate that can range from meat locker to oven, within three steps. Real weather feels great!

That is what I cannot figure out, technically I would think I am burning more calories with weights and aerobics. But I have been th inking about this, I do tend to become more aware of how I feel and what I eat when I do yoga, so maybe that is it.

Posting rates and the like were dropping before Bob sold the site. LPT is one of those things that sometimes runs wild and sometimes creeps and drags.

Of course, you know... folks who want more activity could post more themselves. (I say looking into the mirror... 'cuz I'm as guilty as the next)

Well said, JKS9199.
I find myself in spurts too. There are times when I have a lot to say about the subjects of the currently active threads, and times when I don't. And there are times when I have strong opinions, but don't consider it worthwhile to get involved in what is clearly more an argument or penis-measurement comparison than a discussion. And times when I just have a lot of non-MartialTalk things to take care of (I know... who'd have thunk it???).
I also know that I'm more of a thread-responder than a thread-starter.

Yup, I know...and they continue to do so

Heard that a lot...tried to follow it once, but got tired of reading my own posts and arguing with those that only seem to be here to...well...argue

"don't consider it worthwhile to get involved in what is clearly more an argument or penis-measurement comparison than a discussion" much why I no longer do a whole lot of posting

It doesn't take long to figure out who is here to argue, especially when they tell you flat out they consider conversation to be akin to sparring. Ignore them, or minimize replies to them, and focus on those who are actually here to talk.
Works for me.
Most of the time.
