We have several theaters in the area that offer reserved seats, and the one closest to our house actually has recliners. It's not cheap (about $11 per seat), but worth it. They can't fit as many chairs into the theater as with the older ones, but I'm sure they get more business as a result.

That's about what a regular movie seat costs around here, anyway. Sounds very nice. There's on place in Charlotte (nearer where we used to live) that actually has dinner seating at the theater.

There are a couple like that around here. I remember in Germany there was a theater in Kaiserslautern that had a full bar and tables in the theater. This was in 1989. They were way ahead of their time. Didn't get there more than a coup,e times. Was a pretty good drive from where I was stationed. But it was cool to watch 1st run American movies with German subtitles.

I am sorry to anyone from NJ, but after spending much of my day lost in New Jersey, I really hate New Jersey. ...I just love the way the close main roads and give you nosigns telling you how to detour around it

I admit I have never been much of a fan of NJ but after today I think I will try not to go back if i can avoid it

Ever walked around Time Square in NYC on a Saturday night.... I can tell you it is a bright, flashy, interesting, overwhelming, yet overly crowded experience.....

Mrs. Xue drove in NJ and NYC,..... and I am ok with that...I hate driving in NYC or NJ...don't mind Boston, LA, Santa Monica, San Diego, DC, San Francisco, Arlington or just about any other major city...hate driving in NYC and all of the state of NJ........ but Mrs. Xue does 2 things that concern me.....one...she seems to fail to see curbs in the city and 2...whenever we missed a turn....she stopped...saying we need to figure out what to do...... which is a great idea...if you pull over to the side of the road to figure it out....which she didn't do....but stopping in the middle of the road, be that a city street, side road, on ramp to a major highway...or in the middle of a highway.... which she does do......then it gets a bit scary.....

I've got two demo partners for my Wing Chun class. Now I am working on a third.

The class is split into three 2-hour sessions. My goal is to have a different demo partner for each class.

Okay, folks...I am going to open this question to everyone. I know some/most/a good portion of you have an idea what Wing Chun looks like and how it works, so maybe you can provide some ideas here.

At the end of each 2-hour class, I want to do a "what if..."/"how would Wing chun handle..." type of section, where I would address attacks suggested by the students. However, in case no one has any suggestions, I figured I would build a list of my own...with a little help from my friends.

So how about it? Does anyone have any suggestions to complete the sentence "How would Wing Chun handle...?"

I'd start with attacks you have personal experience defending, and can execute competently. In other words, if you aren't a competent wrestler, and don't test your wing chun with wrestlers, I'd avoid presuming to teach people how to use wing chun to defend a double leg takedown. Teach what you know.
