I'm with you. I fully expect the center I teach at to announce it's closed, so no class tomorrow. What part of NC are you in? (I'm south of Asheville.)Getting ready for NC to close for the next few days because we might get an inch or three of snow...le sigh.....
Gods, but that makes me think of some of the awful one-act plays I acted in, in college. I hope they get something truly worthwhile to produce.Albany Civic Theatre is holding a contest. Local playwrights can submit one-act plays. The winner gets their play produced!
Careful, you guys are running out of F's there. When you run out completely, then you have to go the F & Stuff store. It's freaking cold today. 2F right now.
Xue, you cannot shun me, because
A - You're scared to, and
B - it's really freaking cold!

He actually was not lazy at all pre-college (and there was no man bun or skinny jeans either). I would come home to him cutting the grass and I never even asked him to do it, or taking care of the driveway in the winter...ok, we all use to tease him on weekends when he slept until 11 or 12 (but not 2 sometimes 3). Snowstorms he would get up early to help in the driveway too. However in his second year of college..... things have changed drastically
That's pretty familiar. He'll grow out of it. My oldest did the same thing for a while. We finally made it clear to him we were is family, not his servants. I'm sure it will all work out.Well the oldest's day just got worse (with potential to get much worse if things are not done before I get home)..... home from college and the party is over.... I get up this morning...at 5:00...to go take care of the driveway so no one (my mother in her 80s) slips when they get there in the afternoon.... and as I walked though the kitchen...and looked a 2 (not 1 but 2) full (1 over flowing) trash cans in the kitchen (from a late night Quesadilla party after coming home.), and 2 pizza trays that have been on the kitchen island for 2 days that I asked to be put away yesterday. And a kitchen table full of all things decidedly not for the kitchen or eating.....I got more than a little annoyed.
Mrs. Xue has been annoyed since after Christmas, but tends to say nothing to him, but complains incessantly to me...so today.... I gave sleeping beauty a list that needs to be done..... sleeping until 2:00pm and then bingeing on various TV series all day while other do the work is over....heck even the youngest takes care of her stuff.......but at least a haircut did happen and the man bun is gone.....

I bet you're happy to see the man bun go.
Waiting for the snow to melt so I can drive my car again. Sue's Jeep is nice and all, but...
Thinking about getting rid of the key for the Vette and installing a keyless entry & push button start.
Curious, Dog, why would you do that on such a classic?
actually, that looks like a preview of the Trump years....Binged watched movies today, over ten hours worth. (over grilled rib eye, Ahi steaks and ice cold beverages)
Watched "Hell and High Water" with Jeff Bridges.
Watched "The Arrival" with Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.
Watched "Florence Foster Jenkins" with Merle Streep and Hugh Grant.
Watched "Fences" with Danzel and Viola Davis.
My brain is fried.
