Got to work both jobs today. Technically I have to work all 3 because I have one freelance writing job to do, but I have 9 days to complete it so...yeah, that is getting shelved for a little bit.

Oh, and I forgot to mention: for the first time in YEARS, I submitted not one but two short stories to two different magazines on Monday night. I was looking for magazines that accepted stories in various genres, and I just hit the "submit" button!
Finally got the program's website up and running. Guy who was supposed to build it (who did all my past work) vanished like a ninja mid-project.

Got to love it.
I had a guy who was converting one of my short stories into a comic disappear on me. He was doing excellent work and then...nothing. Turns out he got a girlfriend who took up all his time.
I won't make any comments on that, even though I could make plenty.

I could recommend a good guy for web if you need it, and he was recommended to me by the Mighty Bob of MT fame
I will need it at some point. At present, I've gotten everything done that was on the phase 1 list.

My oldest made his weight in pizza last night.... and then made his weight in quesadilla filling too...at 8:00....after the kitchen was cleaned...while the rest of us were out...... Mrs Xue was not pleased.....guess who cleaned a kitchen last night...... But, just so you know....the pizzas are more than half gone today

Went pretty darn good. Went down to work to see the boys (I've been out a week) brought a couple of Costco pizzas for roll call. Had a hug fest and then went to Lahaina town to a place we found just last month. Brought home a large plain cheese, but it was gone before we got home. (you know how a forty minute car ride goes)
Applied some appetite stimulation and went to Serpicos, got a couple of large combos and went to a friend's house to watch some of the nominated movies of this awards season. Eating a cold, pepperoni slice right now, as I yack on our forum and watch sports stuff on TV.
As far as a day goes - winner, winner, pizza dinner.

Albany Civic Theatre is holding a contest. Local playwrights can submit one-act plays. The winner gets their play produced!
