The average oak tree drops 200,000 to 500,00 leaves.... I have 3 or more of them...I also have maple and big pine cone dropping pine trees.....worked in the yard today.....from 12 to 5....result.....there are 41 bags of leaves and assorted other lawn related items at the end of my driveway....

Will be mulching next time, to many leaves to mulch this time. One thing my last house had that was better was the woods in back to dump all this stuff in....

In other news, we found a little Yorkie stray today. Wet, cold, matted and very underweight. Had a collar, but no tags or microchip. I think we are going to keep her.

I have 8 oak trees and a magnolia tree in my yard....I hate dealing with leaves.

I hope you both are pleased with yourselves..... now I have to go count them to see EXCALTY how many of each type of tree I have...thank you...thank you VERY MUCH!!!!

Oh my God. I gotta' get me a dog.

Still no luck finding an owner. Taking the dog to vet tomorrow. If there are no signs of neglect we will try in earnest to find the doggo's owner. If she's been neglected, we might not try very hard.

paid over 2000 for a much needed piece of equipment...it arrived..... broken
bought another piece of equipment...for only in the $300s.... and even though the sales person assured me it would work in our environment...it doesn't
And a very important server, Important to our operation...died....

I live in a forest. That just means we don't rake.

The only time I've been without a dog my entire life was about 6 months in college. I don't think I know how to not have one.
