How do you remember your kata/pinions/forms?

use a bluetooth ear piece and have someone tell you what to do from a book on the other side of you the phone...
that doesnt only hold in katas, but also in school tests, interviews and so on
haha

Practice, practice, practice.

For the names of each movement, I keep a small notebook where I write the name assigned to each movement, as this is also part of testing (you need to be able to explain and name each of the movements you are making). But the notebook doesn´t necessarily help me remember, only practice. Something that I find helpful is practicing my forms from time to time with my eyes closed. Somehow, it forces me to visualize my form differently. Otherwise, I usually practice in front of the mirror endless times.
