You never asked me a question in this thread. If you did , unlike you, I would have answered it. But you’ve been trying so hard to redirect this away from the topic and the question you are getting confused, and maybe you have forgotten the question directed at you… here let me remind you

Do you know the difference between an answer and a question? At this point I’m not sure. I asked you a question about the video you posted, as did another poster, a question which you have yet to answer… it would go a long way as to you credibility… you asked me a question in your other thread, I answered, but I guess you didn’t like the answer, which was based in reality, so you did not comment

What school, in Germany!?… you have not said anything about a school before or its location. Oh and since you know there is little chance of me taking a fight from the US to Germany, to hunt for a school you have not named is unlikely, your invite is more than disingenuous

I guess I need to be more clear.

I was initially responding to this statement:

If you look at Bruce in older film footage..i would say he moves more like a western fighter than a chinese WC man
Hong Kong roof top fighting in the 50s & 60s between 2 chinese guys is not like fighting a western man trained in Boxing
Bruce quickly knew this & adapted

I was pointing out that real martial arts and real fights are quite different than choreographed fight scenes in movies. I was pointing out that you can not judge someone's actual fighting ability by watching choreographed movie fight scenes.

In this quote, you were specifically pointing out Bruce's ability to quickly know and adapt to different styles of fighting.... as verified by movie footage. I was taking your quote as talking about fight scenes from Bruce Lee movies.... scenes where he had days and weeks to choreograph all the moves. This is not "quickly knowing and adapting."

You then posted a video, and suggested I watch it to see your point. I saw the mistake I had made, in not considering other footage of Bruce, outside his movies. I watched the video you posted and read the background provided on said video. This was a training session or sessions where Bruce was training someone for movie style fight scenes. It does not show Bruce "quickly adapting" his technique to new footwork.... this shows him reacting to single techniques, that he is instructing his student to perform. In fact, he is getting the student to adjust his footwork to be more like his own.... not Bruce adjusting his own footwork to deal with the students footwork.

I asked if you posted the right video.... because I know there exists some footage of Bruce actually competing in a martial arts competition against an opponent. I was wondering if you meant to show that footage of Bruce or maybe there is other footage of him actually fighting or sparring.... where maybe we could see some of this "quick adaptation"

Nope, I don’t have a school, never said I did, I trained JKD briefly with a few different people and yiu are not getting their names, been there done that and it came back to bite me when they went and started trouble at the school.

And I don’t give a lot of info to nameless faceless folks on a web forum. Besides, still trying to establish your legitimacy by asking if you ever really trained JKD and what your school is
