They’re not. Fujian Tiger comes from a synthesis of (mostly) Fujian White Crane and Jishan Quan. I can see similarities between Cantonese Tiger as preserved in Hung Gar and its very in the nose with Tiger Crane Set. The original Hung Gar had stances and footwork that had tighter, smaller stances akin to what we see in fuzhou Tiger according to Wikipedia. Not sure how true that is though.
