24 Simplified Form-health benefits?

For those who practice the whole Yang style, do you think that the 24 Form (simplified) can still transmit the health benefits associated with Tai Chi?

Assuming that the form is practiced correctly.

Yes, I think it can ... assuming it is practiced correctly.

Any type of movement exercise should be good for health. Taiji marketed for health often loses the rigor of the practice that might actually improve health more deeply.

The 24 Form was created as a common format for judging Taiji movement, regardless of teacher or style. In our practice, we use a modified 24 Step as an introduction to Taiji, in accordance with how we train. But it can also serve as a complete practice in itself. We just use it as an intro, then combine it with the 88 Step as time goes

Filmed in Beijing a while back. The students in the background were part of a language program that included aspects of Chinese physical culture. My classmate is leading them through the 24-step form as taught in our practice.

Yes. Just have to do it a little more

That was the first taijiquan form I learned over 30 years ago, and it helped me recover from a back injury

I use concepts and principles in my daily life. It's a good activity for mindfulness
