I think I'm going to create Dragonfly Style martial arts

(Before anyone gets up in a tizzy over how silly this post is, please pay attention that this is posted in the Locker Room and not any of the main channels).

I just watched this video:

It's a fascinating documentary on dragonflies, mainly focused on dragonfly nymphs, and with a particular focus on the posterior opening. And all of the ways they use it. For example: jet propulsion. This is a feature they use when striking their prey, to counteract the recoil of the strike.

Anyway, this furthers my theory that a diet heavy in beans, cabbage, cheese, protein, and other foods notable for causing flatus is useful in a striking martial art to add rocket boosts to your techniques.

So yes, I am thinking of creating Dragonfly Style. And yes, I have been drinking, but I don't see how that's relevant.

Fascinating video. I studied entomology but we never got around to dragonfly nymph buttholes, perhaps their secrets unknown at that time.

Your post brought back some fun memories. A former dojo-mate of mine (actually more of a wandering karate ronin, notable for introducing me to sushi and sake) opened up a dojo he named Dragonfly Martial Arts.

There's tons of those up at the swimming hole. The first time you see the nymph you're like 'what the blue Dutch cheese is that?'.

If you're serious about this, you need to think more about how you move than how you attack.

Your footwork needs to be divine, dragonflies get their power from their agility.
