Can you imagine sitting on a forms panel trying to keep a straight face while a competitor went through their poomsea wearing one?
A few companies (Kwon, Sang Moo Sa & others) have them. They have to be selling them to someone since they've offered them for a few years now. I've yet to find anyone who's school uses them. Or should I say admits to wearing them.
I will say, while I wouldn't be caught dead in one, I've seen weirder things at tournaments.

Fortunately, I can say you wont see any of our students doing such. Full dobok for class period. The only exception would be during an all black belt training session (not a formal class) where the jackets have been shed do to not stoping to put it back on, because a sleeve has become a casualty, etc.
Uniformity and tradition...and as far as "allowing exceptions and expression among the higher ranks" NEGATIVE!!!!! They have fewer excuses and are precisely the ones the lower ranks are looking to as examples! If you walk into a room full of military cadets and a few D.I.(s) who better be the sharpest in the room? EXACTLY!

I think for regular class you shuld wear a full uniform, but for training, pants rolled up and a t-shirt. Has to be a school T-shirt and then your belt.
You can move better in this lind of clothing and when doing the kids with the pants rolled up it allows you to see what your doing! Just my 2cents!

My students wear traditional cut uniforms, but most of them have short sleeves.
