Well I have just watched this for the second time! It's a miracle ... a movie made these days that is actually good and celebrates heroism and self sacrifice and even has a functional family structure with a good dad in the mix

Can recommend. In the glory days of 80's action movies it would have been a good try at a monster action movie - these days it really stands out

It was okay. I’m not sure I’d say it stands out but I remember watching it when it first came out. Chris Pratt is a funny guy but I don’t think he’s a good enough actor to carry anything too serious.
