Hey, I saw that you're going out to Cali. when it gets chillier. If so, you gotto look up Dan Inosanto for FMA stuff and train at least one class with a legend. It would be a sin to be out there and not do that.

Yo,
Morning all. Gonna rain here today.
Drac, the M&G, arriving on what day will you be.

Arriving on Friday early...Leaving here early enough to avoid the rush hour traffic on I-271 which is alway a cluster (you know what)...Rain and fog here too...Wife left on a casion with her Mom..Watching the Grandson..Who is in his room setting up a booby trap for me to spring...

I bet. I jambed my finger last night sparring so im in pain. Is the bathroom finished or is there more to go?

B

Gotta roll the walls and celing..Did the edge work yesterday...The wife went on a drive to that new casino in PA with her Mom...

I had a good private lesson this morning covering bayonet techniques.

Good morning Brian ... that sounds interesting. I'll just have to hope I don't run into someone carrying a bayonet on the street, cause I have no training in that.

Hey 14 Kempo you probably will never run into someone weilding a bayonet unless they break into your house with one. However all the principles of firearm, spear, stick, knife, empty hand training that we do in IRT apply the same so what you can do against one you can do with another provided you choose the right path.

I have no training in any of that with the exception of club/stick, knife, and very little handgun. It would be nice to know a little about staff and spear/bayonet, just as an overview. One never knows what these whacko's out there will do next

The Japanese Jukendo bayonet system was very much based on their spear system; I read an article recently stating that China adopted Western bayonet techniques in the early 1900s.
