Other than that...it will be another day at work later tonight. I hope to get in a little MA practice if I have some downtime

Actually Tshadowchaser was AWESOME at our lesson yesterday. I got out on the floor with him and of course it takes me all of about 5 seconds to get confused. And he said, "Wait, let's try this a different way". He then gave me a notebook and said "I'll demonstrate some things for you, and you can write them down. Then you can come out and try them on your own"

And DANG that has worked so well. I have several pages to work with

Welcome aboard Miss! I think all Martial artists have the famous notebook or steno pad. Or did at one time in their lives. That is the best way to do it, or now a days film it.

I've never had a teacher give me the chance to write things down before. They've all advised writing things down after class....but by then I've forgotton what I need to remember.
