Hey, when you get a chance, I'd take a BJJ seminar if one's near you. I think its finishes, combined with your Silat, would really give you formidable skills - even against those who have more years in the arts.

Thanks for the input Jonathan! I took one recently. One of the students that trains with me has a Jiu Jitsu school in the area. He teaches the traditional stand-up (locks and throws), along with BJJ and MMA, and he did a brief seminar at the overnight workout my school just had.

I'm tempted to join his school as well because I'm restricted to day classes only, and he has day classes on days my school doesn't, but I think my brain would fry trying to learn JJ in addition to Silat and Kali
