Seminars always seem to be a good time. I don't know much about your art, but I am going to take a minute or two this morning to follow that link you provide and check it out.

Yes seminars are always a good time and usually if you pay close attention you can pick up a few choice tid bits to add to your skill set.

LOL ... isn't that the truth. The last two seminars that I attended were GM Wai Hong (Fu Jow Pai) and the a seminar with both Chosei Motobu (Okinawian Kempo) and Professor Kimo (Kempo Jutsu Kai) ... both were good times. Although I wasn't able to attend the after seminar get together, there was one that some students were able to attend and spend time with the GMs, GM Steven Demasco even joined in on one. (Can't believe I missed that!)

Sounds like a really nice seminar! Those after seminar get together's are always a good time. Generally we go to the local pub afterwards to get a burger and a beer. Always some good stories to share at that point.
