My first thought when I saw this was "early night" but then I always remember, you all are east of me, so it's not as early ... I have the night off, oncall for my primary job.

I don't have much JJ, but I'm working on that. It's a kempo guys first choice not to go to ground, but as we all know, it's somewhat unrealistic to think it never will, so some training is needed.

I went to get some BJJ for similar reasons. The instructor teaches JKD and BJJ together, and I ended up much preferring the JKD!

When I started, I believed that it took a lifetime to master a single art, which I still believe that it does. However, I also now believe that having some experience in many arts, while not mastering a single art, is very beneficial. Brought to light by MMA.
