I've actually been listening to the scanner feed from the Fire Department in El Paso county, Colorado. Thunderstorms set off a serious forest fire out there...they have lost a lot of structures. Very sad
Ours was in a "demonstration forest"-hiking trails and a bunch of different species of trees basically for experimentation. Lost some unique species apparently but contained pretty easily. On the other hand I was on a beach at 7PM last night and it was almost too warm, I can get used to this heat.
Rotational force applied while throwing, now I can't rotate on it to kick very well and I can't squat a lot of the time. Not sure what I did, it generally feels less "stable" than it should if that makes sense. I should get a doctor's appointment but I haven't done that yet.
After 6 months of pain, limping, cane, crutches, multipleX-rays, and a draining or two they finally did an MRI and found I tore the meniscus.... and I had just stopped limping from a broekn foot just before I hurt the knee
I have my first Black Belt "focus practice" tonight! The only thing I know about it so far is on any month with 5 wednesdays, we have focus practice on wednesdays where we focus on 1 particular thing (punching, kicking, breaking, etc..) - will know more tonight!
I have a BRUTAL headache. I think it's caffeine withdrawal. Which is good because my Dad just brought me a cup of coffee.
Also, quick question for you guys, teachers specifically. Is it common for another instructor to have his students do random crap for you? When I visit my instructor I don't get to do anything for myself, he tells his junior black belts to do it. Embarrasses me to be honest, I'm nobody important
