Been a funny old week.
Wife poorly Monday in A&E on Tuesday (gall stones apparently, will have to come out). She comes home pain free but very sore only to announces she's arranged with her aunty to visit aunties husband in nursing home so aunty can have a week's break in Benidorm and had missed two days due to illness so would I take her. We visit him Weds, Thursday , Friday and yesterday and then this morning he leaves his body, not unexpectedly, he was 94.
This time last Sunday I was sitting here peaceful and all unawares. It just goes to show, you never know what's around the corner do you?
Funny old week all round.
