Lets see, I spent most of my time in LPT trying to catch up with Terry and 14k. 887 posts subtract about 775 leaves me about 112. I'm to old to start over. Maybe there is an age limit. :)

That'd be a shame, but we all have to do what we have to do. For me, when I come to a m.a. site I want to see m.a. content. I enjoy chatting here but I am not sure it adds more than it subtracts. I know I spend a certain amount of time posting in game-threads, bouncing back and forth between here and the NPG and such, and feel I'd be more likely to maek a substantive post if I wasn't thread-hopping like this. Well, I do what I want when all is said and done...but fewer posts here could mean more meat elsewheer and that on balance works for me!

I guess I could have worded things differently. Point is, Mr. Hubbard owns the forum, he asked the members, the members spoke, he can and will do whatever he sees as most beneficial to the board. I and users on the other hand have no recourse others than to comply or discontinue support for the forum. I don't see a high post count as necessary, just as I don't see rank as an issue. The game threads are a good place to get to know others, but they are not an essential part of this or any other board.

Anyway, I was just making a point, the board will do what it needs to do, patrons will do what they need to do ... simple as that. Sorry if I offended anybody. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Let's keep positive, dudes! There's no prohibition on posting here as much as one wants, after all. If a SM is no longer worthwhile to you. I get it!

Yes sometimes one must ask to recieve or at least that is what the good book says.

I must be sick. I post my heart out and come very close to that magic number and run out of interesting posts to comment on. So what do I do, LPT to make up the difference. Knowing it won’t count after the first of the year, is this what sickness is all about. :deadhorse

Terry, stop putting heat on your back. Not matter what the injury is, it will not help. Remember, RICE=Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. If I were a Dr., and I am not, I would tell you to make sure to take some Ibuprofen. And see me ASAP.
