We have a small backyard/garage school where Iām an assistant instructor. We have now a dedicated group of students that have been with us for a couple/few years now. Watching them grow in the art was been very fulfilling, but recently for this core group, things are really clicking. Where less than a year ago they were basically single technique minded, now they are really getting the flow from technique to technique depending on the resistance or counter, their footwork and distance management are all coming together. Sometimes itās virtually seamless and when this happens, we as instructors just look at each other and smile. Just thought Iād take a moment to gush.
