Bruce Lee said that the mind is the most powerful weapon of the human body. This man, would be supreme grand master of the art of the mind.
Prayers go to him, the loss of this great mind would be tragic indeed to the world of learning and understanding of our universe.

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090420/ap_on_re_eu/eu_britain_hawkingLONDON – Famed mathematician Stephen Hawking was rushed to a hospital Monday and was seriously ill, Cambridge University said.
The university said Hawking has been fighting a chest infection for several weeks, and was being treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, the university city north of London.
"Professor Hawking is very ill," said Gregory Hayman, the university's head of communications. "He is undergoing tests. He has been unwell for a couple of weeks."
Later in the afternoon, Hayman said Hawking was "now comfortable but will be kept in hospital overnight."
Hawking, 67, gained renown for his work on black holes, and has remained active despite being diagnosed at 21 with ALS, (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), an incurable degenerative disorder also known as Lou Gehrig's disease.
For some years, Hawking has been almost entirely paralyzed, and he communicates through an electronic voice synthesizer activated by his fingers.

May his will prove strong enough to fight through this latest obstacle dropped in his path.

Don't leave us yet if you have any choice in the matter, Professor Hawking. We still don't have a complete Theory Of Everything ...

In the end Time and Gravity kill us all.

Dr. Hawking may at least take satisfaction in knowing that during his span he took more from them than any man living or dead.

I heard about it yesterday. He seems better today.

Just sharing. He can't go to space, which I think is a shame considering his contributions to science. But he did get to experience weightlessness.

How's this for a smile, eh?

A smile? No, but a face splitting grin yes... alright bet he must've really enjoyed that. Yes, too bad that they can't take him to space but at least they gave him a great ride for a while. Awesome ... great find!
