We spent last evening in the hot tub killing a bottle of 20 year old port. Much better than watching election returns.

On vacation this week. A week of not relaxing and not working. Well, except for the new website I need to get up. And maybe record a couple of videos for students. And maybe add a chapter to a book I'm slowly writing.

Other than that, no work.

I did that a few years ago. Even in my 40's it healed pretty quickly, so here's hoping he heals in time!

He has his whole life for that!
Speedy recovery!

Oh I know and thanks. It's just that we train together and were going to test in September but then I had my knee surgery, so we pushed it back to November and now he got injured, just a bit frustrating is all.

I'll be the out of shape dude managing the brackets at the Revolution BJJ tournament at PLU tomorrow and Sunday. If anyone here is there, stop by and say hello.

My garage is soooo empty....
Started the heart transplant on Loki today.
Ditching the LS1 for an LS3 with ported heads, a lumpy cam, an LS7 clutch, some fuel system upgrades, and an A&A Supercharger kit.
Goal is 700 RWHP.

Absolutely. Real road runs are pretty much all I do.
There are two ways to get it home. One is straight, 90% on the interstate. The other is a drive through a canyon, with some straights, some tight turns, and some sweepers.
Guess which way I'm going to take?

We're hoping it'll be done by the end of the month.

had some pc issues the past few days, but all should
be good now.. following up with the rheumatologist
on the 25th which is necessary as it feels like I now
have fluid on my right knee again.. which is not
necessary, not to me anyway..

The National Bando Demonstration Day yesterday went off quite well. My role (safety and security) went very smoothly - so that nobody knew what we did. That's the sign of good work. We hosted His Excellency U Aung Lin, the Ambassador from Myanmar to the United States. Several years of planning and work to put it all together, lots of great performances, featuring people from several countries...

A lot of people don't get that. Truer words were never spoken.

Great two days of BJJ in Tacoma, wa. No one here came by to say hi. But otherwise went very smoothly. Worst injury was a sore elbow. Fun had by all. Over 500 competitors.
