This video shows the famous Baji combo "Fierce Tiger Forcibly Climbs a Mountain".

1. You throw a right uppercut. Your opponent blocks with his right arm.
2. You change your right uppercut into a grab/pull on his right arm. You then follow with a left palm strike to his face (1,2 is Xingyi Pi Quan). Your opponent blocks with his left arm.
3. You change your left palm strike into a grab/pull. You then pull his left arm to jam his own right arm. At the same time, you right punch to his face.
4. When your opponent leans head back to dodge your right punch, you change your right punch into a right elbow strike to his chest.
5. When your opponent move back his chest to dodge your right elbow strike, you change your right elbow strike into a right palm strike to his head/face (this is not showing in the video).

What's your opinion on this kind of combo training that you set up your opponent in a trap and let him to fall into?

I first saw this move in a TVB series where the main hero uses Bajiquan. Don't know if their portrayal is accurate or not.

This is a common move or concept in so many martial arts, including FMA. Works well with open hand, knife and stick. Thanks.
