Changing my flag

I’ve noticed Britain’s Union flag has appeared on my profile banner. The Union flag has ‘other connotation’ in the U.K. with which I’d prefer not to be associated.

How can I remove it or change it to, say the European flag?

It is an update and there is no way to turn it off or change it at this time. It is based on the IP address of the post... and it can be wrong but is generally accurate.

Oddly enough, on my iPad it displays the flags, but on my PC it just displays the 2 letter country abbreviations: US, GB, AU, etc.

Yes, the flag is only for future posts since the upgrade. It won't show up on past posts.

Will it remain on the old post after a person returns to their previous location, or only apply to new posts?
