Funny I never really read too heavy on that. LOL. Ok so now I know we can train with Soke on Tues, Sun and Fri, Nagato Shihan on Sunday as well.

Can someone PM me with some other opportunities.

to answer you question about schedules. there is someone training at the hombu almost everyday. most of the times there is training there in the afternoons and then you can go to another training in the evenings. i don't know the times or who is teaching everyday sorry. Really it is a case of just show up and train. At each training someone will annouce training that is avaliable, if not just ask someone. It is very easy after the first training session you go to.

I would definately have to echo Shihan Pearce's comments that
all you really need to do is show up for that first training session
and ask around. There is so much opportunity to train that you
cannot go wrong. I am getting ready myself about heading back to
Japan at the end of June. I cannot wait to be there!

Oh OK, thats cool so it could be any of the Shihan or many of the Shihan.
Very cool and that settles alot, I guess as well it settles travel issues and seeing where they are all located.

Are there any Shihan that really don't come to the Honbu?

Also what time is the afternoon session?

Is there evening session always at 8:00
On the weekends what are the session times as there is also a morning one.
My Shidoshi just wants to make sure we're solidly planned.

Once I know these things, then I'm pretty much locked up with all I need to know about where and whom to train with.

Thank you

Dave,

I believe that most of the Shihan come to the Hombu but many
of them just come to train. I do know that the following
Shihan teach at the Hombu Dojo, Nagato Shihan, Seno Shihan,
Oguri Shihan, Noguchi Shihan. Those are the ones that I
know for sure. However there are other Shihan who are
fairly close Shiraishi is in Kashiwa and it is fairly close to
the train station but also fairly confusing to get to. I was
fortunate in that someone led us to his Dojo. Good luck and
look at George Ohashi's website for further details. George
can also probably answer your questions about times better
than anyone else, if he is available. He helped alot when
I was in Japan on my last trip.

Thats perfect. I have emailed Ohashi San for the dojo times and will just show up and see who is there. I'll be happy with whatever experience we get.

I would however like to attend Shirasihi Shihans class, what nights is it, an time. I can plan from there as to what night to reserve then.
