Trump is part of the machine and will take himself out of the running when financial disclosures are required. He doesn't want the people to know how rich he really isn't as it may impact his self promotion to those same people. For now though, he is serving Obama very well. Instead of unemployment, inflation, three wars, deficits and debt, the conversation is about a missing birth certificate and a trip to Hawaii.

Obviously troubled by the fact that Donald Trump’s questions surrounding Barack Obama’s birth certificate are starting to gain some real traction, Ben Smith at the left-wing Politico finally panicked and fired off the Race Card. Hilariously, Smith did so using my favorite brand of agendized journOlism, what I call the “Some Say” tactic. How it works is very simple. In order for Smith to hide behind his dishonest and arrogant veil of objectivity, he simply finds others saying what he wants to say and abuses his position to amplify the charges directly into the narrative. Today, his chosen ”Some Sayers” are those in the Black community accusing Trump of racism.

The machine hasn't targeted Trump, at least not yet.

The machine did target William Bryan, Ross Perot, Ralph Nader, Jesse Ventura.

The machine is the combined interests of the Democratic and Republican parties. Together, they make sure that the real decisions in our country are made not by elected officials, but by party leadership and special interests.

The machine has targeted the population, too. Got so many of us so angry at the illusionary sides they drew that we forget to look at the big picture.

Once upon a time, they did it with race. Then they did it with economic ideologies. Now they're using the political parties.

The machine doesn't give three greasy ***** about Trump. He doesn't threaten their power structure. But they're thrilled that enough of their dupes think the Democrats have.

My relatives from Texas and Oklahoma have a saying I just love, and think of in situations like this: "Just cuz they say it, doesn't make it so." Kind of applies to the smear of rhetorical stain emanating from both sides of the aisle.

After knowing Donald Trump for most of his career, David Letterman may ban Donald from his show for "racist" comments. Well, I hope Trump was prepared for this better than John Mccain was. When the press turned on MCCain, after they helped him get the G.O.P. nomination, it must have been a big surprise. Wow, go after the president and all of a sudden years of knowing someone goes down the drain and they throw the race card at you. A lot of honor and integrity there Dave. Here is the video.
