For the students, yes... for the staff, not so much - although the administrators did provide cereal and granola bars last time, instead of donuts. Not as much fun, but better for us.

I find this especially with the now universal vending machines stocking 120 varieties of grotequely rich candy and cookies and whatnot everywhere you go on OSU campus. You can get Pepperidge Farm Double Chocolate Milano cookies from the one in the basemen of the building where my office is. I don't eat breakfast---just can't face it... and every day I have to go downstairs and pass that machine... and the bloody thing takes not just coins and dollar bills but 5s, 10s and 20s as well...
Jeesh, just the mention of donuts has me drooling. I've been donut free now for two months!

It's not the vending machines - we don't have any - it's the birthday cakes, and snacks brought in by people trying to sell us stuff (insurance of all varieties, mostly), and food from celebrations of various types...
Anyway, my dog is giving me big brown puppy eyes and begging for his goodnight rawhide... and I'm getting pretty tired too. Good night, all!

Do you find yourself wanting very much not to eat something but finding that you have to eat it anyway??? Sometimes I have to actually leave the bloody building because of it...
