Yes, that certainly seems to be the way it is working at our house.

I had Pneumonia back when I was in high school. It kicked my ***, and I was home for a month and a half. It started out as a little cold, but rather than take it easy, I continued with normal activity. Progressively got worse. Now, any time I get the slightest cold, I start to take all the precautions I can, ie; lots of fluids, rest, meds, etc. Especially around this time of the year, it seems worse.

Well for myself I am feeling a little better everyday.

However, now my oldest son is sick!

We just cannot stay healthy at my house lately.

I'm sorry to hear that Brian. It was standard procedure for me when growing up, if we all kept getting sick we had to get out the lysol and the bleach and scrub everything down and all laundry was washed on hot (unless it would destroy the clothes). Usualy this curbed the cycle of getting sick.

It was standard procedure for me when growing up, if we all kept getting sick we had to get out the lysol and the bleach and scrub everything down

I use those lysol wipes as work. Phones and keyboards, which are shared by 18 of us, are probably the biggest culprits when we get sick.

We got rain very breifly a couple of weeks ago. We are over due for a good hard rain. I'm not happy unless the streets are flooding.

Thanks for all of the info. I wipe down everything religiously at our house however kids will be kids and they seem to pass colds back and forth and then eventually to us adults.

Funny thing is that they spring back from colds so quickly. One minute they have it the next they are feeling better.
