Great we just ened the early kiddy class and starting our teenager and older kids and then the fun starts adult classes.

Yeah, I'm a bit partial to adult classes. Kids classes are fun as well, but get to get into the real meat of things during adult classes.

Yes, I agree..Kids classes are fun to watch on occasion but the adult classes are where its at...Wife just treated me to an ice cream cone..Vanilla dipped in chocolate....Ummmmmgood.....

home from my workout, wasn't too much fun while it was happening, but looking back it was a blast ... LOL ... isn't that sometimes how it is as you get older.

Just the thought of working out to me seems out of reach. It always puts a thought in my head that it's going to have to take a huge effort.

I know exactly what you mean. Mondays, for me, is one hour of kung fu followed by one hour of kempo. To be honest, I'm a kempo guy, so the kung fu drills kill me. Much different movements and drills, including lower stances ... it's just different. But then that's exactly why I'm taking it. For one, to give me more workout time. Two, to teach me a different way to move and, quite frankly, fight. I like it.

Coming from the kempo side, do you find the Kung fu movements wasteful, if used for real? Or just too over the top? I guess "flowery" would be a good word for it.
