this new judo class is killing me - falling on purpose??

and both karate and judo are making me do way more pushups than usual... my upper body strength is lacking.

Falling also teaches you to get back up. A very important lesson to learn that also applies to real life. As for the physical training and lack of strength, the more you do, the more you'll improve.

Yup I have a Spyderco. I'm going to star within the complex though. Its asphalt but heading over to the high school to run on their track doesn't make much sense at this time of night.

Whatever works for you. I used to run on the track as well as the street at this time of night (and later) because it was empty. I don't like people watching me, or trying to avoid them, as they got in my way. I had everything to myself. But, you go girl!
