Tell me something good...

Just arrived in California from Texas today. The temperature change from 81 degrees to 54 degrees. Just finished running 3 miles and feel has a lot of energy. Can't believe I had to put on long sleeve when I ran.

A 30-degree difference is definitely body shock. I'm sure you were a little chilly! 🥶

On this day in 2022, my wife Maryse got her diagnosis. Breast cancer, stage 4. She was told in Gatineau that that they wouldn't do anything to try and treat her, that she was a goner. They cancelled tests. Important tests. They put her at the bottom of the list. It didn't matter, she was gonna be dead in 3 months even with treatments.

That was three years ago. She's still here. Still alive and kicking. Stronger every day.

Please join me in raising a glass to her and a hearty middle finger to the "doctor" who just gave up without even trying at the Gatineau hospital oncology department and cancer in general.
