I'm trying to think of any jokes I've heard about Northern California, it just seems not to have any indigenous jokes....

I've decided to ignore someone on the "Hard punching/knuckle skin" thread. Life is too short for his nonsense. It did give me an occasion however to think deeper about a couple of things and led me to a better understanding. I got a bunch of lemons and ended up with lemonade. Mmmm, refreshing.

I personally think it's high time we stopped taking that thread seriously. Somebody make a weak pun, go on...

The question is, quite how big are we willing to let sparrow city get? There are 3 nests that we know of in close proximity to the house, all of them with chicks in and a suspected 4th and 5th nest... it's kinda cool though

There is a Cooper’s hawk with a nest in a spruce tree next to my house, she is killing robins and sparrows nearly every day in the field. I was doing Tai Chi Chuan and this robin just exploded in the yard, feathers everywhere.

I carry a griptilian for edc. I love my microtech and pacific though too, for different reasons.

This one is not as fancy but is a workhorse. I carried this knife for many years, and use it everyday. Benchmade will laser sharpen your knife for just a few bucks for life. Just don’t lose it, which of course is the challenge.

Very nice! I'll have to look into micro tech and Pacific, not familiar with those but they look very nice. . I like the griptilian, my father carried one. My current EDC is the bailout, very lightweight, nice serrated tanto blade. I like the one in this pic, it reminds me of the barrage. That was my EDC prior to the bailout. Benchmade is the stuff.

The pacific is the model. It’s a Chris Reeves knife. Microtech has a lot of models, the one I have is the ultratech. It’s a double action out the front automatic.
