Thanks Simon, hard to believe I am already at this point in my journey! The past two years have flown by, and I am amazed at how much I have learned. Still much to learn but I guess that never ends, does it?

Well Luca nipped at Benny last night and then Benny handed Luca a solid beat down. Worst part is in trying to separate them I jammed my left thumb bad enough to black it all the way to the tip including the nail. I also bashed the bejesus out of my left knee on my tile floor and wrenched my back at the same time. The little bastards went back to playing 10 minutes after and I will be left nursing my wounds for a week. Worst part was the lecture I got from my wife when she got home. So the good part is that Luca had only superficial wounds and bruises. Benny is made of coffin nails and ball bearings so he was unscathed.

Got through all the pinans and did 10 30kg swings after them. Nearly got it done within the time limit of 6 minutes, I was well into my last set by the time the bleeper went. Next I'm gonna try a longer kata with 15 swings, then have another go at the pinans later in the week
