The Cancer Shield

We all know exercise is good for your heart, muscles, and mind. But what if it could help block cancer from spreading?

Research suggests that exercise may create a metabolic shield that protects your organs from cancer progression and prevents metastasis.

Researchers wanted to determine if physical activity could prevent cancer cells from growing and spreading to other body parts. The authors studied data from more than 3,000 humans over 20 years.

The data showed that people who regularly performed high-intensity cardiovascular exercise had 72 percent less metastatic cancer than those who were not active.

In other words, training at higher intensities increased the production of specific metabolites that increased the immune system's ability to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. The study also suggests that exercise enhances the availability of essential nutrients in the organs, making it harder for cancer cells to survive and grow.

The most significant benefits were seen with higher intensity, such as training above 80 percent of your maximum heart rate with intervals.

As with any disease, there’s no way to protect against cancer completely, but this is one more study showing that you can take steps to reduce your risk.

If you can’t push the intensity, you can still protect your health. Research suggests that walking can lead to a 20 percent reduction in the likelihood of cancer.

You should suggest a daily triathlon 😐 Her response will likely consist of two words! šŸ˜‰

OK, I think this qualifies:

We just came back from Maryse's (my wife, keep up everybody, LOL) latest appointment with her oncologist (for anybody new, stage 4 breast cancer with bone metastases diagnosed in 2022, the original oncologist, in Gatineau, refused to even attempt anything since it was useless, she was gonna die in a couple of months, so she wrote to a different, actually competent oncologist in Montreal who, well, had a bit more success, I think you'll agree).

Everything is startlingly good. The doc is very obviously baffled by how well things are going, as the drugs she's taking, while top-of-the-line, aren't supposed to be THAT good. What do I mean by THAT good? Listen:

1. The initial tumour is completely gone;

2. The liver, which had a metastasis in it, is completely healed. Not even a scar.

3. The bones (mainly the spine), where the rest of the metastases were located, are completely free of cancer cells. There are a few scars on the bones, BUT;

4. The big one: A lot of the spots that had cancer cells a few years ago and scars a year ago show up as completely normal, healthy bone tissue. Her bones have regenerated. Which is insane.

I saw the images myself (Maryse refused to look, too scared). Unbelievable. Incredible. Or, to quote her ACTUAL medical file: Miraculous.

Next appointment is is APRIL. Cancer is getting curb-stomped.
Yay! Good news.

This CERTAINLY qualifies! Very happy to hear of this success! Bravo!

That is outstanding news!

I have just learned the moon walk. It's pretty simple indeed.

1. Raise 1 heel, keep the other foot flat.
2. Slide back the flat foot.
3. Switch the flat foot and the heel raised foot.
4. Repeat 2 and 3.

I still cannot walk back like this in fast speed yet. Also I still need to learn how to coordinate my arms with my legs.

It's like learning a MA drill and I have a lot of fun.

Something good, lemme see... I've been dabbling with doing pictures using only the brush. They're not up to my usual standard as yet, but I'm enjoying the process, which is part of the point. It's also useful practice for when I do another big one. They kind of take it out of you.

That is amazing news Simfers! What a blessing for your wife Maryse. This is miraculous indeed and I pray that she continues to stay cancer free!

I heard a similar positive story in the gym this week: stage four breast cancer sufferer with a poor prognosis, planned for palliative care, and is now completely clear of her malignancy! She showed me her astonishing before and after scans.

But hypervigilance is recommended in observing for future suspicious symptoms. If there is such a thing as the devil, he manifests as cancer…he’s a proper c**t! šŸ˜‘
