Tell me something good...

I have a friend in the gym (we call him superman because of his physique) who lost his job in marketing and is finding it impossible to secure another job in the same field. We thought he’d be snapped up in a minute but, 6 months later…He’s decided to sit a new short course to complete his qualifications and become a nutritionist but he’s dragging his feet because he’s hoping against hopes he’ll find anotherr marketing job.

It’s tough out there if you do a job that can be done by Ai šŸ¤·šŸ¾ā€ā™‚ļø

Just wait til they replace the magistrates and police with robots, everyone will be so much safer…

Magistrates, yes with straightforward cases such as road traffic incidents . Police? In London, that’d be a good thing; the Metropolitan Police Service is just terrible.

Jobs most at risk are probably software and IT roles, clerical and administrative workers. Content and language workers since research puts historians at 67% risk and writers at 57%. Mathematicians, proofreaders, correspondence clerks and court reporters as face task automation and declining hiring demand. Finance and sales support. I also think restaurant waiting staff are very at risk since they’re a huge financial burden on the restaurants and ordering can be done by touchpad and the I think customers would be happy to collect their food from a kitchen hatch, if it meant cheaper food or in the case of the USA, the end of silly tipping practices.
