Had a shoot scheduled this morning that fell through. Since I was already up, I decided to make the best of it and experiment.

Lemme know what y'all think.

:)

I like the first one too. I like the perspective on the 2nd one, but it kind of needs something more for visual interest.

I agree; the second and third look like empty sets, for lack of a better description. You want to find something that's not there... Maybe a focus object "down the hall", between the tree in the background and the porch. The tree isn't enough to grab my eyes...

Or, indeed, close down the depth of field and make the tree the focus object?

I should have the full size prints of these with me at the M&G....the panoramic's a 12x18 (largest I could afford and have ready by then, lol).

Mostly what I did today was location scout due to a noshow. I've got some ideas planned for the 2nd and 3rd shots once I get some models over there....gonna be cool. :)

Nice shots, Bob. I wish I could be there at the M&G to check out the full-size shots.

Well, we're hoping to hit Watkins Glen this year, so might get closer to ya to hook up for a bit. :)

Ok, we're looking to go once the leaves turn for that whole NY fall experience, and we usually make it a weekend event (west side of the lake Saturday, east side Sunday). Shoot me an e-mail if you don't mind, and then I can keep you up to date on plans.
Anyone else in the area like to tag along?
