As of last week, both my wife and I were two weeks out from our 2nd covid shot, and I felt ready to get back to regular training. Over the last 7 days I’ve done:
6 hours BJJ
5 hours HEMA (longsword and dussack via Joachim Meyer)
2 hours archery
1 hour Capoeira
... so an average of two hours per day every day.
I’m pleasantly surprised that I’m not as tired and sore as I expected. (I am sore, just not as sore as I feared I’d be.) I guess I maintained a little more fitness than I had thought.
Next week I hope to add a bit of MMA and Sumo to the mix. I’d like to fit in some Muay Thai as well, but I’m not sure I can find room in the schedule.
Anyone else just getting back into their normal training routine?
