About ten years back there was a case in Philly. A man mugged a totally blind from birth guy. The "victim" turned out to be a champion wrestler and judo player. He threw the jerk down, sat on him and said he'd let him up if the bad guy would leave.

The bad guy agreed, got up and said something along the lines of "No I'm going to shoot you."

This time he got thrown hard on the top of his head. Fatal skull fracture.

The DA waited a whole day before deciding not to convene a grand jury.

I remember reading the Philly story. I remember it as a knife and just one throw, but the mugger ended up with a fatal head injruy and indeed no tears were shed.

Wow, that is amazing hahaha, just go's to show ya, never underestimate your opponent, I'm just waiting someday for a headline to read "Mugger robbed by victim"

I guess that is what having a great Misubi means. As Sensei keeps telling me if you don't develope your misubi your Aikido can't be good.
I assume for a blind person Misubi is 150% of their survival...
