Fed cuts interest rates

The fed cut the key interest rate to near zero. Effectually, they are running the "printing presses" as fast as they can in order to provide liquidity in the economy. Will this work? Will this destroy the dollar? The fed is pretty much out of major options now in regards to the economy. They can't cut interest rates any more.

This is, indeed, the greatest test of Keynesian economic policy. Can a fiat based, centrally managed economy, defeat market forces?

No kidding. That's what I'm worried about. Yet, the stock market bounces like there's nothing wrong. Sometimes, it doesn't even seem real.
