I believe this is written in Chinese (Taiwanese) because 美國 would be read as “bikoku”, (Beautiful Country) in Japanese, but read as “Meiguo”, (America) in Chinese. We can tell itÂ’s probably Taiwanese because the old character for country, 國 is and the old character for “body” 體 is used in favor of the simplified 国 and 体 used by Mainland China and modern Japan.
